24th Birthday

“All I can do is thank You
For this life I never deserved
Wanna thank You for the grace
I know I don’t have to earn
You love me, You love me
Your mercy is proof
All I can do is say thank You
All I can do is say thank You”

Thank You by Mikeschair

Today, as I write this post on my 24thbirthday, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Someone asked me in a job interview a couple weeks ago, if I could rate how lucky I think I am on a scale of 1-10, what would I say and I easily responded with a 10. This was such an easy answer for me. I am so blessed with the most amazing family on earth. They not only love me and support me in everything I do, but they love the Lord and are a great example to me every day. I have amazing friends that I trust with everything I have and who make me laugh like nothing else. I’ve gotten to experience so many things and so many parts of the world at such a young age. I have an education, good health, a place to live, and a job that has been graciously given to me. I am so thankful for so many things and I just want to take the time to write my appreciation for these things today. So, I want to thank each of you for being a supporter and friend to me. It means so much that you are even here reading this.

23 was not the best year for me. Although it did have some high points, it was filled with many low points physically, spiritually, and mentally. I have dealt with some health issues, struggled with relationships, and been forced to a season of rest. Through all of that, God was with me and had a plan. He brought my best friend back into my life who I love with all of my heart and who has made me smile every day since. God has also made me take a step back from running and physical exercise to realize that that isn’t something that I need to stress about. And He has continued to bless me even though I don’t deserve it at all. He has been faithful to me since the beginning and will continue to stay with me every day.

I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for this year of my life.

Colossians 3:17  And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
