Following my Nashville trip, on September 13th, I, along with my dad, stepmom Rose, brother Ryan and sister-in-law Meghan flew to Philadelphia. From there we drove into New Jersey and took the train into New York City. This was my 7thtime visiting NYC and I loved it just as much as the first. We got to do so many fun things and things that I had never gotten to do before. I visited Citi Field for my first time to see the Mets play, I saw Wicked on Broadway for the first time, went to a taping of Live with Kelly and Ryan, and we all visited the 9/11 museum for the first time. Along with that, we shopped, saw the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, took a night bus tour over to Brooklyn, went to a Yankees game, and visited Atlantic City.
I’ve always wanted to have Kelly Ripa’s job, so seeing a taping of her show and getting to be so close to her was unreal. My whole family loves baseball so getting to see the Mets and Yankees both play in their own stadiums was awesome. Wicked was the 4thshow I’ve seen on Broadway, but definitely one of the best. I would highly recommend anyone to go see it.
I am planning on visiting NYC at least one more time this year in December to see the tree lit up at night time in Rockefeller Plaza and to also visit my girls that I studied abroad with. I can’t wait to be back there again, but here are my photos from this trip to hold me over for now. 🙂
