Gratitude Challenge Week 5

Today’s post will conclude my November Gratitude Challenge! It will be a short post, as I only have two days left in the month of November, but I hope everyone has enjoyed this challenge and has taken the time to count their blessings this month.  I have had such a great month filled with family, friends, and memories, and I hope each of you did as well.

  1. Meaningful Verses

Joshua 1:9 says “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. For the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

I love this verse because I often forget that God is with me in every situation. Whether I’m driving in the car, hanging out with my friends, or at Church, He is ALWAYS with me. This gives me comfort because I can know that I am never alone and that I do not have to worry, for He is always there.

  1. The Reason for the Season

Christmas time is SO MUCH FUN for me. I always get so excited for the music, decorating, shopping, giving, wrapping, baking, movies, and everything that the holiday season brings. However, so many people tend to forget the true reason for the Christmas Season. My family always has a birthday party for Jesus when we get together and this is a simple way to redirect our hearts back to the true meaning of Christmas. I am so thankful that God sent his Son, Jesus on that night in Bethlehem and we should never lose sight of that.
